Poppy Fields at the Tower £1 Ticket Scheme

The show will take visitors on a journey through specially-created sound and light projections, featuring artwork reflecting on the First and Second World Wars that will transform the architecture of the iconic Tower buildings. ’Poppy Fields at the Tower’ will create space for visitors to remember those who lost their lives in those conflicts, as well as all those who served, and will also look forward, exploring the collective desire for peace.

Tickets are timed, starting at 17.30 and running every 30 minutes thereafter until 19.30. Last entry will be at 19.45. Entry to Poppy Fields at the Tower is via West Gate. Please arrive in good time for your selected timeslot.

Please note, this is an outdoor event so make sure to dress appropriately for the weather on the day. Poppy Fields will go ahead in the event of bad weather, unless there are exceptional circumstances.

Up to six tickets can be reserved and paid for online. The scheme is open to UK recipients of the following benefits:

• Universal or Pension Credit


• Working Tax or Child Tax Credit


• Employment and Support Allowance


• Income Support


• Jobseeker’s Allowance

To gain entry to the event, it is essential that you bring with you and present upon entry:

• Proof of your eligibility (Universal Credit app statement or printed statement, HMRC letter confirming Working Tax Credit/Child Tax Credit, DWP letter for Pension Credit, Employment Support Allowance, Income Support or Jobseeker’s allowance)


• Proof of ID to check that the person who booked the tickets is present (e.g. a utility bill, bank statement, work ID)


• Your reservation – this is a PDF that you can download and will be emailed to you when you complete your booking.

Children under 5 do not need a ticket and enter free.
