A Choral Christmas at the Castle

There are surely few things that create a more festive feeling than choral singing in a castle at Christmas time. This year, we’re delighted to welcome back the incredible vocal talents of Cappella Caeciliana, one of Northern Ireland’s most original choirs. With a specially created programme of festive readings, poetry and choral music, they’ll be sure to get you into the spirit of the season!

During the interval, enjoy a glass of bubbly or non-alcoholic alternative in the castle’s elegant state rooms. Our expert Hosts will be on-hand to share the rich, inspiring and often surprising history and stories of this working Royal residence.

Travelling by car

There is limited free onsite parking available in the forecourt, located off Main Street in Hillsborough (opposite the Plough Inn). Parking for blue-badge holders can be arranged on request in advance.
Further parking spaces are available at Ballynahinch Street Car Park (free of charge after 6pm) and on the Dromore Road.

Travelling by bus

Nearest bus stop: Hillsborough War Memorial

There are regular bus services (238 to Newry) from central Belfast to Hillsborough (approx. 35 mins). Buses leave from Belfast Europa bus centre.
